We are pleased to announce that the program at a glance and the detailed program are now in our site. It consists of 24 symposia, 8 panel discussions, 10 sessions of oral presentations, 4 ALACCTA sessions, 4 Nanotechnology sessions, 3 industry sessions and poster sessions. Whether you come from a university, research institute, government or non-government agency, industry or commercial establishment, there is an appropriate session for you every time. So, whether you are a student or a professor, a technical person or an administrator, a food processor or a concerned consumer, this is the international conference for you. From food science to food technology and engineering, from educational capacity building to communicating science, from research to publication, from traditional to emerging technologies, from concepts to innovations and applications, from traditional to functional foods, from animal derived to plant foods, from post-harvest handling and processing to regulation, from food security and safety to wellness, in-depth presentations and discussions are expected. One hundred and eighty-five world renowned speakers from 45 countries are confirmed. More than 70 oral presentations and over 2,000 posters will present the latest research findings.
Members of the Scientific and Advisory Committees have worked enthusiastically and tirelessly to provide this strong and comprehensive program. Please visit our site (www.iufost2011.galoa.com.br), and come and join us. Four months before the Congress, more than 1,500 colleagues are already registered.
